What we store, what we don't, and who handles payments.
Your bookmarks and notes
HerbMate has no user accounts and no content database of your own data. Your bookmarks and private notes are stored only in this browser via localStorage. They never leave your device unless you export a backup yourself from Settings. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It reports aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, countries) with no cross-site tracking, no cookies, and no fingerprinting. We cannot identify individual visitors from it.
Payments
HerbMate Premium is handled by RevenueCat and Stripe. When you subscribe, your email address and payment details are collected and processed by them under their own privacy policies — HerbMate never sees or stores your card information. To recognise your Premium on this device, an anonymous purchase id is kept in this browser. That id is your access code; you can move it to another device on the Restore page.
