California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica)
Overview

A mild sedative and analgesic, it is related to the opium poppy but lacks narcotic effects. Instead, California poppy gently calms the nervous system, helps with insomnia and tension, and soothes pain without depressing central nervous system function.
